Panda Mobile’s standard Unlimited and Unlimited Plus plans let you use the same high-speed data allowance in the US and China through OnePool™. Other US plans may require a separate purchase for data roaming in China. To compare your options, check whether China is included, how much high-speed data you can use there, and the total amount you will pay.
Check Your China Data Allowance Before Comparing Prices
Before taking a US phone plan to China, confirm whether mainland China is covered, how much high-speed data is included there, and whether using it involves an additional roaming charge. An international data benefit does not necessarily cover China, and an unlimited US plan does not automatically mean unlimited high-speed data abroad.
For everyday use in the US, it also helps to understand what happens after the domestic high-speed allowance is used. See our guide to understanding unlimited data plans in the USA.
For data service in China, you can use your existing US number with a separately paid China roaming option, buy a new SIM card or data-only eSIM intended for use in China, or choose an eligible US plan with a shared US–China data allowance. Each involves different payments and phone-number arrangements.
Panda Mobile OnePool™ lets eligible customers use their existing US number and shared data without changing SIM cards or paying extra roaming fee.
How Panda Mobile Data Works in China
Our standard Unlimited plan provides 15GB of high-speed data, while Unlimited Plus provides 30GB. With OnePool™, the full high-speed allowance is shared across the US and China: usage in either country draws from the same pool during the applicable service period.
A limited-time promotion may have different China data conditions from a standard plan, including a temporary China-specific cap. Please check the terms and conditions in official website before purchase.
For example, with a standard Unlimited Plus plan, using 10GB in the US from its 30GB high-speed pool leaves 20GB available for use in either the US or China during the same service period. If you then use 8GB while in China, 12GB of high-speed data remains in that shared pool.
For more on using the same number across both countries, see how one US number works in the US and China.
Panda Mobile Prices: Monthly and Multi-Month Plans
The table shows regular pricing for our four standard plans over one, three, six, and twelve months. Unlimited Plus, Unlimited, and Starter offer lower monthly-equivalent prices when you pay for a longer term. Lite stays at the same monthly-equivalent price across all four options. Multi-month plans are paid in full upfront; the table shows both the effective monthly rate and the total charge in US dollars.
Existing customers may periodically receive special multi-month renewal offers. Sign in to your Panda Mobile account to check the available offers for your line.

Currently three-month Unlimited Plus offer costs $45 for the full three months (equivalent to $15 per month). During this promotional period, China data is limited to 5GB per month, but standard OnePool™ sharing resumes afterward under the applicable plan terms. Confirm eligibility and your renewal amount before ordering.

Compare China Coverage and Roaming Costs Across US Plans
When comparing US plans, first check whether the advertised international data benefit explicitly includes mainland China and, if it does, how much high-speed data you can use there. Many plans do not include China data in the standard US allowance; for those, compare the China-specific roaming rates, paid passes or add-ons, and what happens after the purchased data is used.
A low US monthly price may become more expensive once paid China roaming is added. With Panda Mobile’s standard OnePool™ plans, included shared data can be used in China without a separate data roaming charge, so you can compare the actual plan payment against the cost of another provider’s plan plus roaming.
High-Speed Data Limits and Promotional Renewal Terms
On standard Panda Mobile OnePool™ plans, data used in China is deducted from the shared high-speed allowance, with no separate roaming charge for that included use. When the shared high-speed allowance is used up, you can continue using data at an adjusted speed under your plan terms. A time-limited offer with its own China cap may have different after-limit conditions. If you need more data, confirm the China eligibility and price of an available add-on or plan upgrade before purchasing.
If you purchased a promotional plan, check when the offer ends and what the next billing period will cost. Review the allowance that applies after the promotion before your next trip, particularly if you will still be in China when the offer expires.
If you will be away for an extended period but still need texts sent to your US number, read how to keep your US number in China. You can also view our current plans and confirm the China data terms and total payment before checkout.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use my full US high-speed data allowance in China on a Panda Mobile plan?
Yes, depends on plan eligibility. Our standard Unlimited and Unlimited Plus plans share their full 15GB and 30GB high-speed allowances respectively, across the US and China through OnePool™. After the shared high-speed allowance is used, data remains available at an adjusted speed under the plan terms. A limited-time promotion may apply a separate China allowance during its offer period.
How is China data counted on OnePool™ versus other Panda Mobile plans?
On Unlimited and Unlimited Plus plans, data used in China comes out of the same OnePool™ high-speed allowance used in the US. Starter and Lite do not include OnePool™.
Do I need to switch SIM cards to use Panda Mobile OnePool™ in China?
No. If your active Panda Mobile Unlimited or Unlimited Plus plan includes OnePool™, you can keep your US number and existing physical SIM or eSIM when traveling to China. The standard plan uses the same shared high-speed data allowance in both countries, while a promotional plan may have its own China-specific conditions. Check your plan details before departure.
