On March 21–22, the historic Mission District in San Gabriel lit up once again for the annual Lantern Festival, bringing together thousands of visitors for a weekend of culture, food, and community. Organized by World Journal LA in partnership with the City of San Gabriel, the event transformed S. Mission Drive into a vibrant gathering space filled with lantern displays, live performances, and local vendors.
Panda Mobile was proud to be part of this year’s celebration.

Throughout the weekend, the Panda Mobile booth welcomed a steady flow of visitors — from students and young professionals to families and long-time community members. Some stopped by out of curiosity, others had heard about Panda Mobile before, and many were simply drawn in by the energy of the event. What often began as a quick introduction naturally turned into conversations about everyday connectivity — how people stay in touch across countries, manage mobile plans while traveling, or navigate life between the U.S. and China.
A selection of panda-themed giveaways quickly became a highlight for visitors, creating a relaxed and engaging atmosphere around the booth. More importantly, the space evolved into a natural touchpoint for interaction — a place where people paused, connected, and exchanged experiences. This reflects Panda Mobile’s broader approach: making connectivity more accessible, intuitive, and human.

During the festival, Panda Mobile was honored to receive a Certificate of Appreciation from World Journal LA, as well as a Certificate of Recognition from the City of San Gabriel. These recognitions underscore Panda Mobile’s ongoing commitment to supporting community-driven events and contributing to meaningful cultural moments.

Panda Mobile is designed for people living across borders. Whether for international students, globally mobile professionals, or families staying connected across time zones, the need remains consistent: reliable and simple connectivity that works seamlessly. Participation in the Lantern Festival highlights the importance of being present where community and culture come together. These are the environments where connectivity becomes more than a utility — it becomes part of everyday life.Panda Mobile looks forward to continuing to engage with communities like San Gabriel and supporting experiences that reflect the way people live, connect, and move across borders today. 🐼
